I'm sooooooorrryyyy....  I was up late doing things wen suddenly it became past 1, which is when my brain quite seriously shuts down.  Nothing good can come from me after then.  So instead of a drawing a comic I knew I'd hate, I just took a picture of myself and fell asleep on the keyboard.

I still hate it, but at least I would under ay circumstance so the fact that it came out during a "Khail is dead now" phase makes it slightly tolerable.  Anyway, this is what I sort of look like, although my eyes are usually a little more open and there's not usually a pocket knife case in my mouth (and yes I meant for it to be this blurry).

FRIIIIIIICK

This is really really bad news for my comic, as I cannot afford a new scanner...  I'm going to tool around with it, and if all else fails, bring it in to be fixed (a thought I loathe because I'm fairly poor, and get no monetary support from this comic).  So until I get things sorted out, I'm not sure what I'll do for the comic here, which makes me nervous because I already have so few viewers and you guys will understandably lose interest upon seeing my art get even worse because I'm doing it on computer (my tablet unfortunately is also broken... I'm just not good with electronics apparently).  I WILL keep up with my MWF schedule, even if it means I will be shoveling crap your way, so I ask my viewer(s) to stick with me.
I'm actually fairly upset, because I had drawn a semi-decent comic for today, and didn't have access to another scanner.
I find this exceptionally upsetting because I also had trouble with my printer, but it turned out that somehow a stick of chapstick had been caught in the paper tray, and jammed it, but THAT got fixed when I pulled it out.  I haven't done anything cruel to my scanner!  IT'S A TRAMP OF A MACHINE!

I'm actually doing a bit better than this now, but I couldn't resist and old joke.  Sorry!  Well, no, I'm not actually that sorry.  This will improve my art!  Something which needs improving!

         Daniel's been trying to convince me to buy skinny jeans for quite awhile now, but I always resisted, with comfortableness as my prime defense.
But he used the secret weapon of bringing a girl shopping with us and she regrettably swayed me.  Turns out skinny jeans are pretty comfortable themselves, but I'm one step closer to being a hipster now...

That reminds me, I lost my scarf!!!

And personally, I really like my new template, so you should to.  I'm a cool kid and you should do what cool kids do.  Fer serious!

Tablet Part 3

     I got permission from Daniel to do that.  And to be perfectly honest, he's Asian-Australian, but I wasn't sure how I could stereotype that in a drawing.  Phew, it's been forever since I've done a manga picture.  It probably shows.

Right!  The tablet!  After my vacation back home I forgot to pack my pen so I did this one with my art supplies and it led me to a decision.

AN IMPORTANT DECISION:

     I am not going to use my tablet for drawing iwearfedora any more.  It's an experimental comic strip, and    I've come to the decision that I want to keep it in analog drawing (even if it means I'm going to have

to continue to use my scanner).
     What I AM doing with my tablet is planning out a NEW SECOND COMIC!!!   WOO!!  It's still in developmental stages and it's art form will be a bit simpler.  Also, I won't be in it, it'll just be mostly fiction.
Get excited!  Tell your friends!!

Tablet Part 1

I have a lot of reasons to want to move to tablet art.  It saves paper, and the time it takes to scan, plus I can draw it and do the colors in one go.  Besides, most of the best webcomic artists use tablets.
I just didn't know it'd be so HARD!  SO FREAKING HARD!

Oh, uh, aw geeze, this sounds a little harsh now that I look at it...  I do really appreciate you guys that look at this, especially the ones who follow it.  Seriously!  But I'd be lying if I said that I wouldn't be more motivated to improve the quality of these if I had more viewers.  I do this for free and all, and only want to show the world or something like that...
