Killed by Daleks

Poor poor me.  Killed by a Dalek....   Last year apparently...  That's right folks, all the comics past 2011 have been written BY A DALEK.  The Dalek that killed Khail, by the way...

As you might be able to tell, I forgot to do a comic for today.

Sketches

So I stayed up late playing weird piano songs and singing weird things that came to my mind while I was singing them, which made for an interesting musical experience that the rest of the lobby probably abhorred.

And thus all I can post for comics today is these sketches I did during chem class with a little help from a friend.

It's finals week here at BYU.  That means that there's a good likelihood that all my comics this week will just be sketches that I work out in my spare time.

I found this doodled in one of my notebooks... so... there.

I'm experimenting more with coloring things, especially people, with Gimp.  I like how it looks, but I don't expect to color all of my comics this much from here on out because I don't always have the time.  I like gradients though...

Face

Ah man I hate it when webcomic artists do this!  Here I am on update day expecting something funny, and instead they just give me some of their "art".  And it's a self-portrait too!  What is this guy, narcissistic? (If you chose to read my blog, then you would probably rule that out).  Seriously, I came for laughs and I got some sketch of a face!  This artist is a prick, I can't believe he'd do this to me!  

(In all actuality, I personally like when webcomicists occasionally do an art day thing.)

So yeah, I've been a little swamped and drew this instead of a comic, partially to prove I actually can draw.  However, I don't reflect that in my usual comics because while drawing this I totally went OCD about many a detail (and then the scan went funny so it's not great anyway).  With my simple comic art I don't need to worry as much.

Undying Humor

       I seriously think that humor based media that just falls back to cheap sex jokes is a big waste of time and space. I mean, sex happens people, now get over it.  No real reason to put it on the twisted pedestal it's on today.


Oh on another note, don't forget that I would love if you would recommend my comicsto your friends and such.  That'd be just dandy!
