Amnesia

I bought the most recent Humble Indie bundle because it was a "pay what you want" thing (yes I paid a non-insulting amount, I'm not a jerk).
I had heard that Amnesia was supposed to be scary, but I guess I thought that I was supah-tough or something.  Now I know that it was DESIGNED to make you not want to sleep at night.

Can't sleep....

Not safe....

WHAT WAS THAT NOISE?!?!?!?@#$%^Y&

Bad Idea #109

This happens to me ALL THE TIME in Minecraft.  I'll be toddling along when, voila, a really nice item appears and I grab it and now I'm satisfied with life!
Two minutes later I'm admiring the bottom of a dangerous ravine (from the top of it) and bump the "q" button which throws the item (which I am, of course, currently holding) and my life is utterly RUINED!

OHHH NOOOOO!

Cheater Strip: MSJAR

In all the webcomics I've read (which is a fair amount) it always seems like the random guest strips are pretty early in the overall production of the entire comic history.  Now I know why.
I'm going to try to get a few guest strips in for the next few updates so I can sit back and reevaluate my work and my life and-ok I've just gotten lazy.  I can do better!  I swear!
This strip is actually from my friend Aaron's site who I originally did these strips for.  It was drawn by Aaron Painter and the link to it is here.  He's not doing comics right now, so I'm tying him over til he gets back (in two years).  You may have noticed he is a better artist than me.  That's cuz he is.
(I call these "cheater strips" because that's what they are.  I'm cheating hardcore by using guest strips).

ALSO!
If you want to put your own strip here, than shoot me an e-mail at baconfellow@yahoo.com with the strip and I might just put it up.  Bonus!  I'll link it to your own comic site if you have one!  Just try not to swear and don't be TOO crass. :)

Craftland Day 6

Stupid stupid animals.  The fact that they now flee actually gets them killed more often by cliffs then they used to be.

So that's all for my Minecraft comics (for now anyway) I hope you enjoyed them.  I'm going back to the MWF update schedule, so that I don't drown (not that these take very long to make).  Stay fresh.

Craftland Day 5

See?  I told you I could do an update today!  Look at that!
Minecraft didn't allow anything but the same speed pace before the update.  The addition of sprinting made escaping from monsters a lot easier, plus it just made life easier.  The only problem is that there is now very deep ravines which can be missed if one is looking up.  Sprinting into one is a good way to get very dead.

Craftland Day 4

See previous comic.

UPDATE:  Hey folks, it looks like I can't post a comic tomorrow because I'll be in the hospital getting my innards looked at because I was hurtin' something fierce today!  So I'll have one up Saturday for sure and maybe just possibly one tomorrow, but definitely much later than usual...
:P

Craftland Day 3

First of all, if you are privy to minecraft knowledge, don't look down here because I'm just blatantly explaining the comic to the uninformed.
Ok.
So in the old minecraft update, mobspawns (things that spawn a specific kind of mob) were only found in tight little areas called dungeons.  Also, they're weren't as many and cave spiders WERE NOT poisonous.  With the addition of abandoned mineshafts (which do not warrant explanation) mob spawns are more frequent, put out more mobs, and the cave spiders are the devil's own creation.  (Above land spiders still not poison).

Craftland Day 2

Day two and another lesson learned!
You see, in the old update of Minecraft one could cross an ocean in maybe 5 minutes as ocean biomes (as they are called) and basically any other kind of biome were a lot smaller then.  The new update has changed that and now oceans can take 20+ minutes to cross.  It's mind-bendingly boring.

Craftland Day 1

For all you people who don't really know minecraft, now it's your chance, cuz it's minecraft week for me!  I'm going to be updating daily this week til saturday about things I've learned about the recent minecraft update!  I will also explain it for the unenlightened.
In Minecraft, there are creatures, that are commonly called mobs.  Some are useful (cows, chickens, wolves, and pigs) while others are hurtful (spiders, creepers, skeletons, and zombies).  This new mob that I found is called and Endermen.  They're unique in that they won't bother you at all unless you look directly at them.  Do that and then they just stare.  Look away for just a second and they teleport right next to you and knock your block off!  I learned that one pretty quick...

Obsessions

Yep, I've become addicted to the world of Minecraft I'm afraid.  However, o as not to be too self indulgent, I'll keep the comics about it to a minimum.  On a relate note it seems to me that these here comics are turning into a sort of "journal" style of comic, which intrigues me because that was not at all my original goal, but c'est la vie.  I hope you people still enjoy them anyway!

White Boe

He did the exact same thing to me while I was playing Ocarina of Time!! And if you don't get the last panel reference, then you need to play more Legend of Zelda.  Seriously
